BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore police are investigating after a body was found in the water in southwest Baltimore on Tuesday morning, police confirmed.
On January 20 at around 8:26 a.m., authorities responded to the 2800 block of West Baltimore Street, just off the Gwynns Falls trail, for a report of a body in the water.
Police and the Baltimore City Fire Department arrived on scene and recovered an adult male found deceased.
Police noted that signs of trauma were found on the victim's body.
Homicide detectives are currently questioning a person of interest.

2/15 Broadway victim (WBFF) — A robbery at a Baltimore convenience store early Friday morning turned deadly after a masked suspect shot a clerk and then calmly took money from the register before walking out, according to surveillance video shared with FOX45 by the store’s owner.

On February 15, 2026, at approximately 12:36 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to a vacant home in the 5200 block of Saint Charles Avenue for a report of a possible deceased person.
Once there, officers located a later-identified 36-year-old male, suffering from trauma to the body.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Homicide Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Police are investigating after a woman was fatally shot in south Baltimore Thursday night.
Around 7:43 p.m. on Feb. 26, officers responded to a home in the 900 block of Honaker Court in the Brooklyn neighborhood to investigate a "non-breather," according to police.
When they arrived, they found an unresponsive woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's office to learn the victim's identity, officials said.
