Birds of Springtime.....
...and I am not talking about baseball either. Horned Grebe, Great White Heron, Yellow Crowned Night Heron, Big Blue Heron, Osprey, Loon, Wood Duck, Cormorant, all in Baltimore City.

My kids and I love watching the ocassional cormorant diving in the water down by the Captain James. It's fun to see if we can guess where it will come back up. I'm nearly always wrong. I spotted a male wood duck last week too. Don't see too many of those. Unfortunately, it was sitting on a trash boom, surrounded by plastic bottles and chip bags.
