Update note 10/13/25: This was an old old post that I created back in 2015 and the original map was since deleted from the Internet by Google. I still had the old placemarks and waypoint data on file so I put them on a new Google Map My Map for everyone to use. I have no control over what Google deletes but hopefully this will stay up for awhile. If you click on the link provided and poke around you'll find you can download each layer of placemarks/waypoints to a kml or csv file.
Update 01/16/26 I have added some bunkhouses, train stations, bus stations and a couple of libraries. I have also added J1772 Electric Vehicle charging stations. One may charge an ebike at these locations as long as they have a J1772 to NEMA 5-15 discharger.

I didn't "get" the files. I made them.
This is just what I was looking for ! Thank you Cham. I plan to ride some and paddle some with 3 other 70 year olds. Of course, all this convenience takes some of the "adventure" out of it, but who wants to struggle when the wine has been breathing already?
